The Dominicans were established as a community of preachers, often sent to new places and assignments. This time a new task – the ministry of a family priest in Łódź – was assigned to Fr. Mirosław Pilśniak, the legendary co-creator of the “O Unfathomable Trinity” Hymnal (Niepojęta Trójco) in the 1980s, and recently an employee of our Foundation since 2019.
For the last three years, Fr. Mirosław has led formation projects, incl. teaching at the Cantor School and conducting liturgical retreats for families, he also worked on the edition of texts and sheet music (new Dominican Missal, another volume of the songbook Niepojęta Trójco). The greatest discovery of recent years, however, was the craft talent of Father Mirosław; his rosaries and crosses, which he can not only masterfully make, but also masterfully tell about them.
We would like to thank Fr. Mirosław for three years of presence in our team, we remember in prayer about his new tasks in Łódź and we are glad that he will continue to cooperate with us despite the distance.
