The presale of the Dominican Liturgical Calendar for 2022 ends up today. Primarily it is a help for Dominican communities, but also for everyone who would like to pray the Liturgy of the Hours every day in union with the Order of Preachers or participate in it in Dominican monasteries.
It is worth remembering that the liturgical calendar is not intended to be a place for notes about our meetings or experiences – it has no place for personal notes, except for eventual comments on a given day. However, it contains a lot of information that will help to better understand some of the events of the liturgical year.
The liturgical calendars cover the topics such as the possibility of celebrating ritual masses, for various needs and votives on particular days of the liturgical year, movable feasts for a given year, mass readings, as well as celebrations of own assemblies or dioceses, to which the calendar is dedicated. Such calendars also contain introductions to a given liturgical period – which allows to experience it more deeply through reading.
We believe that the Dominican liturgical calendar will help not only our three Dominican orders, but also the faithful of different communities, to pray during the liturgical year.
Orders can be placed at any time via the online store – only today (Monday, November 15) the promotional price applies. All ordered calendars will be sent in December. The superiors of the Dominican communities have already received a dedicated link for submitting bulk orders (you can get it again by contacting us at kalendarz@liturgia.dominikanie.pl).
A personal recommendation from Father Dominik Jurczak can be found in today’s stories on our Instagram – we invite you to follow!
We wish you all the best for the upcoming new liturgical year!
